Basic Information
Go Go Gomez didn't make his first appearance on the show until episode #52, "Tacos Tangle," as the head of police in the Mexican town of Tacos. He joined Joe Jitsu in apprehending B.B. Eyes, who had broken parole. Upon being a member of Dick Tracy's deputy ensemble, Go Go was made laconic and romantic as well as being able to run at incredibly fast speeds. He could be anywhere Tracy needed him in no time flat.

It's been noted elsewhere that Go Go Gomez was patterned after Warner Bros. cartoon star Speedy Gonzales.
Go Go first appeared a year earlier in a Mr. Magoo cartoon. He was voiced then by Mel Blanc.
His full name is Manuel Tijuana Guadalajara Tampico Gomez...Junior.
