Basic Information

Flattop was characterized by his flat head. He is usually paired up with B.B. Eyes, although he made a solo appearance in the episode "Jewel Fool." His voice was an approximation of Peter Lorre.

Character History

In the comic strip, Flattop (real name Floyd Jones Sr.) was a contract killer. His brothers were Blowtop and Sharptop, and his sister was Auntie Flattop. He disowned his family and made a name for himself in the criminal world by killing Federal agents in Kansas City. He was offered $5000 to eliminate Tracy but the plan tanked when Flattop tried to extort more money for the job. Flattop died from drowning in a replica of the Santa Maria pier, but his ghost supposedly took over brother Sharptop's body later on.

Trivia

In the 1946 Daffy Duck cartoon "The Great Piggy Bank Robbery," a squadron of planes takes off from Flattop's head.
