Plot Overview
An accused rapist gets off on a technicality. Shortly thereafter, he's found shot to death, and bomb threats are sent to the judge and defense attorney Brenda Peterson. Eventually, Tony winds up being held hostage in the courtroom, along with Brenda and the judge, by the brother of one of the rapist's previous victims. At home, Tony juggles reading The Maltese Falcon and finding Rachel's expensive lovebird figurines and winds up having a dream where he's a Sam Spade-type private detective searching for the 'Eastbridge Lovebirds'.
