Plot Overview
Stan is among the officers taking the Sergeant's exam, and he figures that an informant's tip about a seemingly legitimate importer/exporter just might work in his favor. Tony allows him to work the case against the man, who might be involved in drug smuggling, and Stan bonds with his abused wife, who's more than happy to see that the guy goes down. Stan does get his Sergeant's stripes for his work on the case, but his joy is tragically short-lived when he's killed in a car explosion. Rachel tries to get Cyd to speak to her class on Career Day about her career as a detective, but Cyd is a little apprehensive about speaking in front of a crowd.
