Plot Overview
While they are undercover in New York City, Tony's cover is blown and he disappears, and Paulie goes off the deep end, threatening porn kingpin Van Spyk. Tony is taken to a warehouse by movie producer Cyd and Van Spyk's henchman, who want to kill him, but Tony's surprised when Cyd blows the henchman away and reveals herself to be an undercover Fed. When the missing girl's body is fished out of the East River, Tony and Cyd team up to bring down Van Spyk, but the bigwig has an ace up his sleeve...the missing girl is alive and well and sitting in his studio! The investigation has serious repercussions when Paulie blows an unarmed Van Spyk away, resulting in Tony releasing him from the force, and for Cyd, her release from the FBI. In need of a new assistant, Tony hires Cyd to join the force. Rachel gets Tony to attend Lamaze classes, but the usually unflappable Commissioner blows it, first by overly relaxing and falling asleep and later by fainting while watching video of an actual birth. At the station, a round-up of biker gang members gets chaotic when they refuse to be fingerprinted and cause a near-riot, but Tony gets an idea on how to get the task done, using the precinct's maintenance man and his bruising brothers.
