Trivia
The Show
- The character of Kathy Lawrence, a classmate of Marcia's, makes a second appearance in as many weeks, both times played by Sheri Cowart. In the previous episode, "My Sister, Benedict Arnold," Marcia and Kathy are rivals competing for a final spot on the cheerleading squad. In this episode, the two have apparently patched up their differences, as Kathy is invited over for a study session — and to help Peter (the central character in this episode) develop what he believes is a lack of personality.
Allusions and References
- Humphrey Bogart — In one of the series' best-known moments among fans, Peter attempts to mimick the iconic American actor when describing the dinner menu ("Pork Chops and applesauce!").
