Plot Overview
Bobby is convinced he can get rich by selling Neat & Natural Hair Tonic. Bobby sells Greg a container which turns Greg's hair bright orange on the eve of his high school commencement. Greg is forced to go to the beauty parlor and dye his hair back before going to graduation.
Notes
- Robert Reed refused to appear in this episode because he thought the plot (regarding Greg's hair being dyed orange by a non-FDA-approved hair tonic) was "implausable." Barry Williams recounts in his book, "Growing Up Brady," that Reed remained at the studio during the filming of what turned out to be the series' finale. Reed's negative critique of the episode is included in Williams' book.
- By this point, NBC's "Sanford and Son" is soundly beating "The Brady Bunch" in the ratings, and the series was not renewed for the fall 1974 season.
