Plot Overview
To help the boys bond with their new stepmother, Alice begins sending them to Carol whenever they have a problem (such as a scraped knee or homework questions). It works out too well, and soon Alice begins to feel unneeded and unloved. She makes the very hard decision to resign as the Brady's housekeeper.
Alice explains that she has a sick relative that needs some care, but the Bradys see right through that explanation and come up with a sceme to show her how much she is loved and appreciated around the household.
The plan works, Alice admits that the "sick relative" thing was all made up ... and decides to stay.
