The Bastard follows Warren, a hardworking hotel janitor who has a freak accident at work and is told by his mother, who mistakenly thinks he's on his death bed, that he’s the bastard son of the wealthy founder of the hotel chain. Warren seeks out his real father, hoping to connect, and eventually earns a place in the wealthy but dysfunctional family. But no matter how hard he tries, he will always be … the bastard.
