Plot Overview
Everyone in Mayberry is excited when a Wild West show comes to town. Everyone likes the show and its promoter Fred Gibson but the real draw is Clarence Earp Dempsey, a direct descendant of the legendary U.S. Marshall, Wyatt Earp. The show begins to have a negative impact on Opie and some of his friends however when they take some of shows slogans - like the best man is a fighting man - just a little too much to heart. Andy tries to get Gibson to tone it down but Dempsey ends up challenging him to a duel. Andy has to do some quick thinking to settle it all amicably.
