Plot Overview
Andy was looking forward to going to the Saturday night dance with Helen, but he's called to Raleigh by a lawyer who needs additional information for an upcoming court case. Without consulting Helen, he arranges for Howard Sprague to be her date for the dance. She's not amused but Andy heads off to Raleigh to meet lawyer Lee Drake, who turns out to be a very attractive blond woman. They work by her swimming pool all day and a sun-burned Andy returns to Mayberry on Sunday with some explaining to do. Too embarrassed to tell Helen the truth, he makes up a story about the sunburn and tells Helen, who has read in the newspaper that Drake is a woman, that the lawyer is 40-ish and drab. Andy is really in for it however when Lee shows up in Mayberry needing still more information.
