The All-New Jeopardy!
The All-New Jeopardy! is the third incarnation of the popular game show Jeopardy!. It was the second version to run on NBC and was the final one to feature Art Fleming as the host. The announcer for this version was John Harlan. A couple changes were made to the rules, as stipulated by the network, which Merv Griffin did not like. Particularly, an elimination format was used as well as a different bonus game. This version only lasted five months as a result of these changes and fierce competition.
The first round was played like the original show except the money values were $25, $50, $75, $100 and $125. The low scorer after this round was eliminated from the game but got to keep any money scored. The two remaining players participated in Double Jeopardy, with the money values $50, $100, $150, $200 and $250. The top scorer went on to the Super Jeopardy! bonus game, where the object was to run the board once in each category in sixty seconds for a $5000 cash prize.
