The $100,000 Pyramid is the tenth edition of the game show that started as the The $10,000 Pyramid in 1973. Unlike the original series (1985-88, 1991-92) which has been screened on GSN with a "TV-G" rating, this series is branded with a "TV-14" rating.

Gameplay is identical to the previous editions except in the first game there is no "7-11" bonus. The "Mystery 7" bonus is retained in the second game. Payoffs in the Winner's Circle are (in ascending order) are $1000, $1500, $2000, $3000, $4000 and $5000. Contestants vie for $50,000 in the first game; if the same contestant wins two games, he/she goes for a total of $100,000.

Regular games ending in a tie are not played off. The winner is determined from which team reached the tie score in the quickest time.
