Plot Overview

Allison arrives at the Spindle Top to meet Cyrus Blanchard and passes T.J. as Paige arrives and meets T.J. Then Paige tells T.J. having dinner like this is almost as if the last couple of months never happened. Cyrus tries to get cozy with Allison. Dr. Matthews introduces herself to Judith as a psychiatrist. Judith tells Dr. Matthews she doesn't need a psychiatrist but after a long chat she is convinced to let her help. Dr. Matthews also tells Judith she is going home tomorrow. Paige tells T.J. if Dennis wants to give her the Top of the World Club she should accept it. Then T.J. asks if managing it will be a problem and she tells him that Alex never had a problem with her it was only Iris who did. Then Paige tells T.J. that Iris fired her twice. Paige also will have someone run Pg.1 for her and will let Mark stay in the penthouse and T.J. tells her he set up an appointment for tomorrow with Mark at the Top of the World Club and he will be there with her. T.J. also tells Paige that Allison stole the only real copy of Gregory's birth certificate from his safe the day they learned Ryan had been killed and is holding it for power. That way she decides who will be Gregory's father. Allison tries to fend off Cyrus' advances and tells him she didn't call him to set up the meeting. Cyrus gives her a bracelet, which she rejects, and finally Allison runs out on him. Lurlene and Joel tell Kate and Justin that they would like Paige to be a bridesmaid. Judith tells Grant she is scared to go home but Grant assures her that he and the rest of the family will be there to help her. Hunt meets with Monsignor McHendrick who tells Hunt that he has received letters from Hunt's mother and brother and he doesn't know how to answer them. Hunt tells the monsignor that he doesn't know how to answer them either. Hunt tells the monsignor that everything seems to be conspiring to bring him back into the priesthood but that he is also drawn to Vicky more than ever. Then Hunt says he will make a decision soon and the monsignor tells Hunt the longer he waits the harder it will be for everyone. Allison shows up at T.J.'s and tells him that Ruby set her up with Cyrus and T.J. tells her maybe she brought it on herself. T.J. asks Allison why she always has to play games and asks her to give him the birth certificate but Allison again says she doesn't have it and leaves. Paige arrives home and Lurlene asks her to be a bridesmaid. Paige agrees and offers to have all the dresses for the wedding party done at Pg.1. Mark remembers celebrating his wedding with Ruby. Then avoids talking to Ruby and Ruby remembers their wedding and says to herself that she never thought being married would be as lonely as being single. Justin suggests to Lurlene and Joel that they have the wedding at Marshall Oaks instead of at the church in Marshall Village. He also mentions having the reception at the house and tells Lurlene and Joel he built this mansion to be a show place and to have lots of joy and there hasn't much of that yet and it is time to change that. Lurlene and Joel agree. Mark tells Ruby he is sorry for the way he has treated her and tells her how much he loves her. Then Ruby offers to let Mark move into the Wheeler house alone for a couple of weeks until Judith can adjust to things. Joel tells Lurlene he has been feeling a little left out since all of the wedding plans and has hardly seen her this past week. Lurlene apologizes to him and tells him how much he means to her. Paige tells Justin that she and T.J. didn't talk about Gregory. Then Charlie Barnett, the detective that Justin hired to investigate Galveston, arrives and gives Justin Ashley's purse and tells him he would like to be released from the case. He also tells Justin that he should accept the fact that his wife is dead. As Mr. Barnett leaves, Allison enters and Justin tells Allison what the man said and Allison tells Justin she will have a new list of detectives on his desk in the morning. Justin tells Allison he doesn't know what he would do without Ashley. After Justin goes up to bed Allison tells herself that Ashley is gone but she is still here. Allison takes the birth certificate out of her purse and decides that T.J. made her mad so she just might have to give the birth certificate to Justin and that T.J. will never see Gregory.
