Plot Overview

Kate and Doris tell Justin that Paige was on Billy Joe's show and then Allison calls and tells Justin to get down to Marshall Oil. Brette tells Mark and Ruby that Grant is in with Judith. As Judith approaches the light she hears Grant telling her that he needs her and loves her. Then Judith reaches out for Grant's hand. Judith awakes and Grant talks to her about how much she has to live for. Then the doctor brings in a neurologist to examine Judith. Billy Joe tells Paige that she did a good job on his show and she is on her way back. Doris tells Kate it seems like Allison has her hands in a lot of things. Then Gregory comes in and tells them and Justin of the daydream he had about Ashley being all right and coming home. Doris thinks the bond between mother and son must be very strong. Ruby sees Billy Joe and Paige in the hospital cafeteria and Paige asks Ruby to keep her informed of Judith's condition. Then Ruby tells Billy Joe she can't believe she is really Mrs. Mark Wheeler. Grant tells Mark and Brette that he spoke to Judith but doesn't know if he got through to her or not. Then Mark tells Grant her condition is not his fault and if she survives it is because of him. The doctors leave Judith's room and decide it doesn't look good for Judith. Justin arrives to see Allison and then Hawker and Boots show up and all learn that Allison is working for Marshall Oil now. Mark and Brette find Billy Joe and Ruby in the cafeteria and then Ruby tells Mark that everything will be OK. The doctor tells Grant that there have been some complications. The doctor tells Grant that Judith may be paralyzed for life. Allison, Hawker and Boots try to convince Justin that now is the time to obtain some of the less secure leases from World Oil but Justin says no to the idea. When Hawker and Boots leave Justin learns from Allison that Mark married Ruby and that hurt her so now she is going to work for Marshall Oil in the position of vice president. A detective gets a description of a woman calling herself Mrs. Justin Marshall. Paige comes home and Doris and Kate both tell her how proud they are of her for what she said on the Billy Joe Show. Then Paige tells Kate she went back to George's studio to say good-bye. Kate tells Paige she knew she was probably with T.J. for Thanksgiving when she didn't come home. Grant tells Mark, Brette and Ruby that Judith may be paralyzed and then they all decide to go to the chapel. Paige talks to Gregory and tells him she spent most of her time with T.J. recently. Gregory tells her about his dream and that Ashley is coming home. Allison tells Justin that Mark doesn't know about her quitting yet. She also tells Justin that she thinks they should Cyrus Blanchard's leases. Then Detective Anderson enters to see Justin about his wife. Detective Anderson tells Justin that a woman matching Ashley's description has been located charging stuff as Mrs. Justin Marshall at Dalton's in the Bay view Mall in Galveston and so Justin leaves to go get his wife.
