Plot Overview

John and Vivien tell Grant and Judith they are engaged. Ginny tells T.J. that Reena thinks Gregory belongs with Justin and won't give the birth certificate back. Justin tells Brian that T.J. claims he is Gregory's father and that there is another birth certificate that can prove it. Brian tells Justin without a valid birth certificate T.J. has no case. Then Brian says he will take care of this. Ginny tells T.J. she knows how he feels about Gregory because of when Barrett took Steve but now Barrett is almost his old self again. Then Ginny suggests to T.J. that he try to talk and work things out with Justin and come to an agreement. Grant and Judith toast to Vivien and John and when asked about a date Vivien thinks maybe a May or June wedding or a winter or spring wedding. Then a package arrives for Judith and she is nervous about opening it up but it is the family picture reframed that Grant had done. Judith feels everything is going to work out. Christine and Reena talk about Rikki's recording and suggests they find the songwriter who wrote "Angel". Then Reena tells her they are concerned about Billy Joe counseling people on the air. Then Christine tells Reena she isn't sure she can work with George any longer. Christine tells Reena she mentioned Maggie to George and he went off on her and brought up the accident with Stella again, accusing her of being behind it. Then Vicky arrives and they watch Stella tape Tall Texas Tales with guest Kay Ballard. A contestant plays the game with Stella and Kay. Vicky tells Reena if Billy Joe wants to council people Hunt can sit in. Then Reena tells Vicky that Christine has a personality conflict with George and that she is going to stop and see Grant later on. Justin sees T.J. and T.J. tries to get Justin to acknowledge him as Gregory's father but Justin refuses. Judith gives Vivien an engagement present. Joel tells Lurlene about his great day at work. Then they discuss the fact that there is no sign of Ashley yet and how Ruby misses Mark. Joel tells Lurlene it is time to set a wedding date so they finally choose December 17th. Reena visits Grant at World Oil and as they talk Grant mentions that he was the foreman on a jury right before coming to Houston in a second degree murder trial. Grant begins to leave with Reena when Judith calls and Reena suggests a rain check on the drink. Then ask they talk about Judith, Reena tells Grant he doesn't owe Judith anything. Reena tells Grant maybe there was another reason, besides rediscovering her love for him, Judith came to Houston.
