Plot Overview

Ruby and Mark awake together and after Ruby comments about how she would like to do this every morning for the rest of her life she asks Mark to marry her. Grant and Judith discuss Ashley and doubt if she is found that she will be all right. Then Judith suggests that he not discuss it with Reena again. Reena realizes that T.J. thinks she has the birth certificate and he can't get custody of Gregory without it. So Reena thinks Justin has it and calls Marshall Oaks. Allison answers the phone and asks her what she wants. Allison tells Reena that Justin isn't here and that she is taking care of him. Vicky tells Reena of Hunt's visit to the monsignor and she is afraid of the outcome. Grant and Judith argue about Reena. Then Judith yells at Vivien for eavesdropping on their conversation. Mark thinks Ruby is joking about marrying her but when Mark realizes she isn't, he tells her how much she means to him but isn't ready for that kind of commitment. Lurlene sees Joel and Allison at the cabin and then Allison goes to work and Lurlene wonders how she can stay so calm with her sister missing. Grant gives John a raise but he asks Grant if it is OK if he marries Vivien. Lurlene and Joel talk about Ashley's chances not looking good. Hunt tells Vicky he spoke with monsignor and wants to talk about it. Stella's guest on Tall Texas Tales is Katharine Helmond. A contestant plays Tall Texas Tales with the girls. Hunt tells Vicky he is going on a retreat for the weekend. John is about to ask Vivien to marry him but is interrupted by Judith who wants to go to KVIK. So John tells Vivien he got a raise. Mark and Grant talk about marriage and what made Grant marry Judith and the ups and downs of their marriage. Ruby visits Lurlene at the cabin and tells her about her talk with Mark. Mark is surprised to see Allison at work and tries to comfort her when she starts crying. Ruby tells Lurlene she doesn't like feeling this way so it's either all or nothing - marriage or no more seeing each other. Allison tells Mark she needs to work for a while. Mark understands and Allison acts needy with him. Judith tells Reena it is time they have another little chat. Grant calls Vivien and learns that Judith is out. Judith asks Reena if she is plotting to get Grant again.
