Plot Overview

Vivien tells Judith that all Grant said is that he was stopping at the Bellman's to see Ginny and would be late. Then Judith opens the door to George. Reena and Grant wait for word from Ginny on Ashley and Justin. Paige awakes in Marshall County Hospital and tells Justin that Ashley let go of her hand. Paige tells Justin of seeing Ashley at T.J.'s and that Ashley was coming home to him. They took River road and then the flood came. Grant asks Reena if she would care if things worked out for them but Reena says she can't answer that. Then Vicky comes home and Grant leaves. Vicky tells Reena she mustn't tell anyone Hunt's secret but he is a Catholic priest on an indefinite leave of absence. Justin tells T.J. that Paige was with Ashley and they decide they must find Ashley and the car. Then T.J. goes in to see Paige. George tells Judith that Ruby is afraid she doesn't measure up to her standards and that Ruby must have picked up on their closeness. Then Grant comes home and tells them that Ashley is missing in the flood and George wonders where Paige is. Doris tells Allison a woman named Marshall was admitted to the hospital. Ginny, Kate and Doris wonder what is wrong with Allison. George arrives and tells the Marshalls that Paige left his place in the middle of the night. Then Justin enters and tells them that Paige is all right and she is the one who was admitted to the hospital. Then he tells them that Paige and Ashley were trying to come home when they were washed away in the flood. Then Allison tries to comfort a distraught Justin. Ruby stops by the Bellman's to tell Reena that a woman named Marshall was found. Then Ruby tells Reena that she did something once and wants to make amends. Then Ruby tells Reena she is the one who told Judith about the bet and Reena says she thought she was the one. Ruby tells Reena that she thinks Judith is having an affair with George and that she is broke and maybe she wants Grant for the money. John advises Grant about a stock decision. Then Grant tells Judith he had dinner with Reena. Then Judith is upset and flies off the handle with Grant. Vivien and John talk about couples fighting and then they talk about marriage and John almost asks Vivien to marry him but chickens out. T.J. tries to comfort Paige who tells him she stayed on a small piece of ground hoping she wouldn't be swept away. Then Paige tells him she loves Ashley and tried to save her. She also says she has felt so alone without Ashley or him. Then T.J. tells Paige it is time she knew the real reason he didn't marry her but she tells him she doesn't want to hear it. Then George enters and T.J. leaves. George tells Paige he doesn't like her being kept in that little room and Paige says it must be because of Maggie being in a mental hospital. Then Paige tells George what happened and tells him he is the only one who cares about her. Allison convinces Justin relax and rest and that Ashley is fine. Allison tells a sleeping Justin that she will look out for him. Doris overhears and says to herself that she will be looking out for Allison.
