Plot Overview

Paige visits Judith to make sure she is happy with her purchases. George finds Ruby in Reena's office. Allison comments to Justin that today is T.J.'s turn to see Ashley. Justin asks Allison what's bothering her and she says she is afraid he will get hurt. Justin tells her what he did to Ashley was wrong. Then Allison leaves when Ashley enters. Ashley tells Justin she hopes he understands her not being home for dinner. Then Gregory and Justin leave. Ruby asks George why he is suddenly so interested in Paige Marshall. Paige and Judith chat about George. Privately, Judith hopes George will now leave her alone. Reena reads over the information on George. Then Joel visits Reena and talks to her about the job he has been offered and about Max. Then Joel asks Reena if she would consider selling the cabin to him and Lurlene. Reena tells him she can't sell it but they can use it for a while. Then Reena calls Rikki. A sarcastic Allison argues with Ashley about her getting everything she wants. Allison offers to help Mark get Cyrus' account and he invites her to dinner. Ginny takes Gregory out so Justin can talk to T.J. Stella talks to Reena and Ruby about publicity for Tall Texas Tales. Then Ruby tells Reena that George was in her office and she saw an envelope with his name on it so she hid it. Then Ruby asks her if she thinks he is up to anything shady. Stella hosts another edition of Tall Texas Tales with her guest Phyllis Diller. A contest plays Tall Texas Tales. Justin thanks T.J. for helping with the fire and then he tells T.J. he wants Ashley back. T.J. tells him he will always love Ashley. Justin tells him that he and the family are what's best for Ashley. Joel tells Grant about his new job working the land and also tells him that he and Lurlene are going to pay off the loan before they get married. Joel also tells Grant that he saw Reena's cabin and she is going to rent it to them even though she won't sell it. Then Grant thinks about Reena. Judith tells Vivien she won't be home until late and also mentions that Ruby doesn't fit in with the family. Then Vivien tells Judith that the other Mrs. Wheeler used to get into trouble when she meddled in Dennis' life. Justin tells T.J. they need to work together to help Ashley. Then Justin leaves with Gregory and Ginny upsets T.J. by commenting about how much Gregory loves Justin. T.J. decides he won't give Ashley up. At home, George plays with Grant's gun as he looks at pictures of Grant and Judith. Then Paige arrives and tells him of her visit to Judith's and how happy Judith is that Paige and George are friends. Ruby gives Mark a check for $500 as the first payment toward the $10,000 and Mark reluctantly accepts and tells her how proud he is of her. Then Ruby tells Mark she is free if he still wants to go out but he tells her he made other plans. Then Ruby leaves when Grant arrives and Mark tells him of Ruby's payment. Reena stops by T.J.'s office and sees Ashley. Reena tells Ashley she would like to talk to her about Justin.
