Plot Overview

Ruby shows Lurlene a new outfit. Paige gives George the dress back he loaned her and also has a gift for Maggie. Justin tells Ashley he wants to talk to her about the divorce. Justin asks Ashley to postpone the divorce so he can prove how he has changed and also tells her it is over between him and Reena. Then Allison interrupts and tells them that Mark is meeting with Cyrus Blanchard to try to get his business. Allison also says she had drinks with T.J. last night and maybe Ashley should give him a call for old time's sake since he is feeling lonely. Stella tells Vicky she can't find Hunt and insinuates he is off with someone young. Paige asks George if Maggie is in a mental hospital and he says yes. Paige says she understands because of Barrett but George says other people are responsible for Maggie's state. Then Paige tells George how her daddy killed himself because he got depressed. Mark tries to do business with Cyrus but Cyrus is interested in drinking and leaves when Mark doesn't want to give him a drink so early in the day. Then Allison arrives and stops Cyrus. Lurlene tells Ruby if Joel would take her money he could pay off the Wheeler's. Ruby tells Lurlene she isn't the World Oil spokesperson. Ashley tells Justin she needs to talk to T.J. before giving him an answer. Then Kate enters and asks Justin to walk over to ranch to see where the house was. Hunt tries to explain to Vicky why he missed the meeting but she is upset. Stella welcomes Peter Noone to Tall Texas Tales. A contest tries to win on Tall Texas Tales. Lurlene stops by Marshall Oaks and sees Ashley. Then Kate and Justin come in and they talk about how much Joel loves the land. Kate then says she has made a decision and will tell everyone about it at dinner tonight. Then Joel enters. Billy Joe and Ruby make a deal with Hunt, Christine, Reena and Vicky. Billy Joe tells them he wants to tell his viewers about his prison stay. Privately, Vicky tells Ruby how impressed she is with her professionalism. T.J. tries to talk to Ginny about all she has gone through and Ginny says Steve is all she has left. Mark tells Allison his meeting with Cyrus didn't go well. Ruby tells Reena Grant isn't as happy with Judith as people think. George enters as Ruby and Reena talk. Billy Joe signs the contracts as Christine watches and then she makes a date with him for Friday night. Joel shows Lurlene the Marshall's hunting cabin and Lurlene tells him the Marshalls sold it to Striker who gave it to Reena and Max as a wedding gift. Then Lurlene suggests they see if Kate has a key to it. T.J. calls Ashley and tells her he doesn't think Mildred has the birth certificate and then he asks her to dinner. Ashley tells T.J. she can't have dinner tonight but will tomorrow night. Then T.J. tells her he misses her.
