Plot Overview

Joel tells Lurlene he isn't going to have the operation. Grant calls Reena on some business and then Reena tells Vicky that everything is not all right. Justin asks Ashley just how long she intends to keep him out of their bedroom. Joel tells Lurlene he isn't going to borrow the money from her and she figures he was out trying to borrow the money with no luck. Lurlene urges him to go to Mr. Wheeler. Elena visits Billy Joe and he talks to her about missing Nita and a letter he got from her. Reena tells Vicky she loves Grant but it will never be the same and staying at World Oil can't work. Justin and Ashley argue about Reena until Gregory enters the room. Lurlene convinces Joel to borrow the money from Grant and pay it back with interest but he wants to go to see him alone. Then Ruby tells Lurlene that Mark threw her out of the penthouse last night. Mildred visits T.J. and calls Kate Marshall rude. Then T.J. tells her that the wedding will be at the Marshall ranch. Gregory asks Justin if he can go with him to check out the Gregory One the night before the race and Justin says yes. The Paige arrives and Ashley enters and Paige asks Justin to give her away to T.J. and he says no. Then he argues with her and Ashley and storms out. Paige and Ashley talk about Justin and T.J. and Ashley tells Paige she isn't sure it will work out for her and Justin. Lurlene tells Ruby not to throw herself at Mark or she will scare him off. She also tells Ruby that she and Joel are only good friends. Joel tells Grant about the operation and asks to borrow the money and Grant agrees. Lurlene explains to Ruby how Joel's feelings for her are out of gratitude and that after the operation he will move on. Grant tells Reena that Judith is moving out of the house but Reena gets upset with him for giving her personal information at work and adds that she doesn't believe Judith will ever move out. Justin rents Suite 2900 for an indefinite amount of time with 2 keys. Paige tells T.J. that Justin won't give her away and he tells her of Mildred's visit. Joel tells Lurlene he got the loan from Mr. Wheeler and he also senses that something is wrong with Lurlene. Reena finds a key from Justin.
