Plot Overview

Mavis tells Lurlene and Ruby about her airplane trip while Ruby acts as the maid and then Mark shows up. Nita leaves and then Billy Joe tells Hunt that things are caving in. Grant asks Reena if she is going to stay at World Oil. Reena tells Grant she is going to stay at World Oil and both decide there may be some hope for them in the future. Billy Joe and Hunt tell each other about their problems and give each other a pep talk. Mark meets Mavis, who thinks he and Elena are dating. Hunt tells Vicky he hopes things work out for Billy Joe. Ruby gets jealous of Elena with Mark and privately tells Elena to leave Mark alone. Mavis learns Lurlene owns the club in the building. Ruby spills tea on Elena. Nita and Billy Joe are T.J.'s first clients when they tell T.J. about the problem they are having. Billy Joe tells T.J. the contractor went bankrupt and took his money with him. T.J. says there isn't much they can do. Grant tells Mark he is starting to understand Judith better and wants her and Brette to be closer. Kate arrives at the penthouse and Ruby asks her to go along with their story and Kate meets Mavis. Then privately Ruby explains to Kate what is going on but Kate isn't happy about lying. Mark tells Brette that Grant wants her to get along with Judith and she agrees to try. Kate agrees to go along with the story for now. Then Elena invites Kate to the party at the Wheeler's. Lurlene tells Ruby she doesn't know what Miss Kate thinks about her lying. Then Nita arrives with dresses from Paige One that Ruby paid for. Billy Joe tells Vicky that he and Nita talked to T.J. and she tells him his problems are affecting his performance on air. Then Billy Joe asks Vicky if Lurlene can be on his show and she says it's OK. Reena visits T.J. and asks him to work for World Oil again. Mavis tells Lurlene she is nervous about going to the dinner party. Then Mavis and Lurlene realize they are both shy around boys. Brette and Grant share a close moment. T.J. tells Reena he wants nothing to do with her and asks her to leave.
