Plot Overview

Grant is upset that Reena saw Hannibal and she reminds him that they have to destroy Marshall Oil. T.J. tells Ashley if Hannibal's companies don't stabilize they are going to lose Marshall Oil. Lurlene comes off the elevator with her groceries and is met by Hannibal with Brette and Ruby. The girls push Hannibal into the elevator and falls thanks to one of Lurlene's oranges. He gets the Fire Compass from Brette and opens it and the gas comes out. The girls run out and close the elevator door. Hunt tells Vicky he hasn't found another place but does know the new owner's agent's name. Rikki and Justin arrive and see the poisonous gas and take the stairs up. The girls go into the apartment and call the police and then Justin and Rikki arrive. Clay Williams calls Striker to tell him that Hunt has been leaving messages. Striker tells Clay to do nothing and not to tell Hunt who the new owner is. Vicky tells Hunt she may be able to find out who the new owner is but he wants to do it and decides to check with the Hall of Records. Mark arrives and learns that Hannibal is dead. Then Rikki returns and Mark calls Grant and tells him that Hannibal was behind Hitopah and is dead. Brette realizes that Sutar was right about the gas only affecting the evil ones. Then the police arrive. Grant tells Judith the man behind Hitopah is dead. At first Judith blames Grant for letting the kids get in danger and then she apologizes and cries. Justin tells Ashley and T.J. that Hannibal is dead and Ashley faints thinking Justin killed him. Grant tells Judith that Lacy is involved with a man over in Australia. Grant also says he will always have time for his kids. Then Mark, Brette and Rikki arrive and Judith invites them all to dinner. Lurlene and Ruby tell Joel what happened. Justin tells Ashley he didn't kill Hannibal. Then he tells Hawker and Boots that Hannibal is dead and asks for their help to stabilize his stocks. Ashley remembers her last chat with Hannibal and then tells Justin she is glad he is gone. Then Gregory arrives. Reena walks in on Judith and the others and Grant tells her that Hannibal was behind Hitopah and is dead. Mark gets upset with Reena for talking to him and Grant supports his opinion. Ashley tells Gregory that Hannibal is dead and can't hurt them anymore. Mark sees Ruby and she explains to him what happened. Vicky tells Striker of Hunt's problem and he suggests she stay out of it. Justin tells Ashley their fate is in Hawker and Boots' hands now. Grant and Reena argue and Reena storms out.
