Plot Overview

Grant tells Reena they are on their way to Palm Springs. Mark drops Lurlene and Ruby off who tell Joel they have a license plate number for Beau's car. Judith asks Allison where Grant is. The plane arrives in Palm Springs. Allison tells Judith she doesn't know where Grant and Reena are. Justin tells Ashley that he is going to try to get along better with T.J. because family is important and he and Paige are very close. Justin tells Gregory it won't be long and he will be a Marshall. Grant and Reena get into a limo and see the sights. Justin tells Gregory he wants them to get along with T.J. because he and Paige may get married some day. Hannibal tells Bailey to stay away from Joel. Ruby tries to convince Lurlene to the Department of Motor Vehicles alone. Lurlene leaves as Rikki and Brette arrive. Rikki and Brette tell Ruby and Joel that Kate and Ginny didn't know anything more. Mark tells Judith she hasn't done anything bad and that Grant will forgive her too. At the Department of Motor Vehicles, Lurlene learns that Beau's car is a stolen rental car from Key Car Rental Agency. Ruby tells Joel that Lurlene likes him a lot and Joel says he feels the same way about her. Gregory tells Allison that Ashley is back with the birth certificate and that it says "father unknown". Grant and Reena get out of the limo at the resort. Brette asks Judith why she is in Houston and if she is going to give Grant the divorce. Then Rikki arrives and interrupts their argument. Allison tries to give Gregory a reason why Hildy didn't list his father's name. Justin tells T.J. he wants them to get along better and shows him the birth certificate saying "father unknown". Ashley puts the real birth certificate away. Lurlene tells Ruby and Joel that's Beau's car is a rental car. Then Joel and Lurlene get closer. Brette tells Rikki she thinks Judith wants to stall the divorce. Grant tells Reena they have the whole resort to themselves. T.J. tells Justin that "father unknown" could slow up the adoption proceedings and agrees to help. Then Ashley learns that T.J. is going to handle Gregory's adoption.
