Plot Overview

Ashley sees her name listed as mother on Gregory's birth certificate. Allison and Gregory arrive at Vicky's and when Beth and Vicky talk, Allison asks Gregory if he had a fight with T.J. Ruby tells Lurlene she is going out so she and Joel can have dinner alone together. Ashley calls Marshall Oil and T.J. answers the phone. Ashley tells T.J. the lawyer doesn't have the birth certificate. Striker meets Gregory and then Vicky tells Striker that this dinner is a hypocritical sham. Ruby and Lurlene talk about how they like Mark and Joel. Brette tells Riki she is going to work for World Oil. Reena learns that Gregory is having dinner with them and then Grant arrives. Allison introduces Grant to Gregory and then the Canfields arrive and meet Grant, Allison and Gregory. Mark meets Joel and then he and Ruby leave for the Coop. Joel tells Lurlene, he is in favor of anything Ruby does that brings him and Lurlene closer. Striker toasts the Canfields. Gregory doesn't like the way everyone is talking about World Oil beating Marshall Oil. Rikki sings "Woman, Don't You Know with You, I'm Born Again" to Brette at the Top of the World Club. Ashley remembers T.J. coming to see her in Savannah after she had the baby. Gregory and Allison talk to Mildred. Ruby introduces Mark to Billy Joe and Nita. Lurlene tells Joel that she has never had a boyfriend and they learn that they both had pretend friends when they were young. Rikki tells Brette he would like them to spend a lot of time together. Reena tells Grant she doesn't like hearing Gregory praise Justin. Then she tells him that she thinks Striker and Vicky should divorce rather than make each other unhappy. Grant tells Reena he loves her and Judith knows the marriage is over. In a closed Coop, Mark and Ruby dance and kiss to the song "Hold Me". Then Mark tells her he wants her but she tells him she wants their first time to be special. Gregory tells Mildred that Justin and Ashley are adopting him. Ashley doesn't know what to do.
