Ruby tells Lurlene they shouldn't tell Mark about the $20,000 and then Lurlene says she is scared about Joel. Ashley tells Paige they are adopting Gregory and Paige tells her that T.J. has asked her to marry him. Rikki tells Brette and mark that the cave ordeal isn't over. Rikki tells Brette and Mark that the authorities are looking for the man that held a gun on them. Then Mark tells them he has a date with Ruby. Joel asks the doctor what's wrong with his eyes and is told that they need to run more tests. Lurlene tells Ruby she is afraid Joel won't like her when he sees how plain she is. Ashley tells Paige when she gets back from Savannah they will have a long talk. Hawker and Boots see Rikki and Brette and mention that they are getting another backer for Rikki. Justin asks T.J. to find out how Hannibal's companies are doing. Ruby tells Mark about seeing the man in Gretchen's apartment that was after them. Ashley tells Hannibal she is going to adopt Gregory. Hannibal tells Ashley if she leaves her money in his companies, her secret is saved. T.J. tells Paige that his mom won't come between them. Hunt treats Vicky to a special private dinner and they dance and kiss. Lurlene visits Joel with a radio and books and he tells her he is scared. So Lurlene tries to cheer him up by reading to him and then he kisses her hand. Paige tells T.J. of her visit to see Ashley. T.J. urges Paige not to let anyone come between them. Hawker and Boots tell Hannibal they don't want him to back Rikki anymore. Ashley tells Justin she went to see Hannibal to make sure he doesn't interfere with the adoption and Justin tells her he wants to take care of his family. Hunt apologizes for kissing Vicky. Mark and Ruby talk about their parents and Mark tells Ruby not to get involved between Judith and Reena. While Joel goes for tests, Dr. Holland tells Lurlene that Joel may be blind. When Joel returns Dr. Holland tells him that they are removing the bandages tomorrow and Joel asks Lurlene to be there.
