Plot Overview

Gretchen watches Rikki, Ruby and Mark as they try to convince Brette that they need to leave. Reena tells Grant that barker can help them. The doctor and nurse hear Joel say World Oil and think Grant Wheeler may be a friend. Nita learns from Billy Joe that he didn't pay a doctor bill. John tells Vivien he found books by Miles Renquist at the library. Grant invites Reena to dinner. Vicky thanks Hunt for filling in for Rikki. Ruby and Mark grow closer and kiss. Ryan tells Grant they are ready to go as soon as they find Hitopah. Then Grant gets a call from Dr. Holland who says he has a man named Joel Walker in the hospital. Billy Joe tells Nita that he is short of money because the contractor keeps asking for more money to build their mansion. Billy Joe also says he won't take her money to help pay for the mansion and they argue about money. Grant and Ryan meet Dr. Holland who tells them that Joel was shot. Grant asks the doctor to call him as soon as Joel comes around. Reena has John go to meet Grant at the hospital and tells Vivien that they may have a lead on where Hitopah is. Judith has a chauffeur take her to the Wheeler house at 95783 River Oaks Blvd. Mark tucks Ruby in and then Rikki tells Brette they can find the secret room. Gretchen continues to watch. Hunt tells Vicky if she wants to talk about her problems he would be happy to listen. Billy Joe and Nita make up. Vivien and Reena talk about Gretchen killing Miles, Grant and Mrs. Wheeler. Ruby sings Elena's song and then thinks about Mark and marrying him. Reena answers the door to Judith not knowing who she is. Hunt and Vicky grow closer. Grant tells Dr. Holland that Joel's dad died a year ago and he will pick up his medical bills. Judith tells Reena who she is. Gretchen knocks Rikki out and grabs Brette.
