Plot Overview
Lurlene tells Billy Joe about the apartment hunt and then Billy Joe tells Ruby she better not hurt Lurlene. Ashley tells Justin to get off Gregory's back. Kate tells Ginny she has placed an ad at the post office for temporary ranch help and then Kate asks Ginny where she was last night. Brette asks Grant if she can use the map library. Ginny tells Kate she went out for a walk and Kate says that Ryan has been gone far too long. Ruby tells Billy Joe she isn't using Lurlene. Justin and Ashley disagree over Gregory being a problem. Allison asks Grant for a job. Ms. Clark follows Billy Joe around and gets on his nerves as Rikki gets a call for help from Brette. Ms. Clark tries to dig up the dirt on Billy Joe but only manages to annoy him. Miles tells Kate he is missing some things and wondered if Steve said anything about finding them but Kate says no. Rikki helps Brette go over the maps. Beau arrives and tells Kate he is applying for the ranch hand position. Billy Joe complains to Justin about Mrs. Clark but Justin will hear none of it. Ginny tells Miles that Kate heard her come in but she didn't tell her she was with him. Billy Joe convinces Lurlene to buy the Coop herself without Ruby. Rikki tells Brette he doesn't remember where the canyon is and Brette won't tell him why she is so curious about it. Allison tells Ashley she is applying for a job at World Oil and Ashley says no to the idea. Lurlene tells Ruby that she bought the Coop. Rikki finds Hitopah on the map and shows it to Brette. Miles tells Ginny he must leave or he will be putting everyone in danger. Kate tells Beau that she will give him a trial period and if it works out he is hired. Lurlene tells an unhappy Ruby that it was Billy Joe's idea to surprise her by buying the Coop.
