Plot Overview

Mr. Farnsworth tells Justin and Ashley that in order to get the $40,000,000 they must both agree to be Gregory and Allison's legal guardians. Elliot tells Reena he couldn't find anything doing a background check on Beau Baker. Mr. H. tells Beau he must stay and Houston because they have located the target. Paige gives Nita a dress as an end of the year bonus. Billy Joe tries to get Ruby and Lurlene to leave so he can start making dinner for Nita. Mr. H. tells Beau that they know the target is in town. Mr. Farnsworth tells Justin and Ashley that they must legally adopt Gregory and that he and Allison will be in Houston tomorrow. Reena tells Elliot that she will see if she can get any information about Beau's past out of Ruby. Justin tells Ashley he doesn't want the boy or to use her money to save Marshall Oil. Brette arrives at the Coop and meets Roy and learns that she and Ruby Wright are going to be partners in business venture. Ashley tells T.J. that she and Justin are going to be Allison's legal guardian and have to adopt Gregory and if they do they will get $40,000,000 but Justin won't use it to save Marshall oil. Brette talks to Rikki and meets Ruby. Ruby and Brette don't hit it off. Ashley asks Paige to talk some sense into Justin. Nita arrives for dinner and Billy Joe tells her he is trying to recreate the same meal he made the last time she took him back. Brette tells Rikki that Lacy is having a wonderful time in Australia. Reena arrives to see Ruby. Billy Joe and Nita have an uncomfortable time but do kiss and then the enchiladas are burning. Ruby tells Reena that Beau has left town. Beau looks at the money he was given and knows he has to earn it. Reena joins Brette, Rikki and Lurlene at the Coop. Paige arrives to talk to Justin. Paige tells Justin he is a fool not to use Ashley's money.
