Plot Overview

Brette tells Grant that she wants to talk to him about his love life. Beau tells Rikki and Billy Joe he doesn't know who has the letters. Ruby arrives at Vicky's office and tells Elena she is not going to show those letters to Mrs. Bellman. Striker tells Reena that he has offered T.J. is old job back if Marshall Oil folds. Kate questions Miles and then leaves him with Ginny. Ruby tells Elena she will hurt Rikki and Billy Joe if she shows Vicky the letters and then Ruby leaves when Vicky arrives. Rikki tells Beau to be out of Houston tomorrow. Brette tells Grant that he is interested in Reena but just doesn't realize it yet. Kate tells Ginny she doesn't trust Miles because he is hiding something. Vivien tries to teach John how to behave properly as a servant. Brette tells Reena of Grant's birthday the day after tomorrow and they plan a get together. Then Ginny calls and asks Brette to come out the ranch. Ruby tells Billy Joe that by now Vicky has read the letters. Then Vicky appears and says she wants to speak to Ruby. Brette tells Ginny and Kate that Miles Renquist is a living legend. Striker tells Grant that he offered T.J. his old job back if Marshall Oil folds. An angry Vicky berates Ruby for missing 2 meetings and then when Vicky leaves, Billy Joe and Ruby are relieved to know Elena didn't tell Vicky about the letters. Vivien talks to Reena about Grant's upcoming birthday and then Reena mentions it to Grant. Rikki tells Elena she did the right thing not telling Vicky. Ruby tells Beau she wants a divorce. Brette meets Miles and he tells her he needs a place to hide out for awhile. Grant agrees to dinner with Reena for his birthday. Then they have a drink together. Kate tells Brette that she agrees to Miles staying but only if he stays in Reena's cabin. Beau tells Ruby she can have the divorce but that he isn't staying in Houston. When Ruby leaves Beau makes a call and tells a man that his cover is blown and he must leave Houston. However, the man tells Beau that he has a job to do and he is staying until it is done.
