Plot Overview

Paige tells Elliot of a building she would like him to look at for her shop and then Dennis enters. Grant, Ginny and Reena wait for word from Ryan. Peter pulls a knife on Ryan but Ryan overpowers him and wins the fight. Paige leaves and Dennis tells Elliot that his divorce is final today and then learns that Elliot is having dinner with Paige. Grant, Reena and Ginny talk about T.J. and Ginny and Ryan's plans to marry. Ryan tells the police he wants Peter arrested for the murder of Alex Wheeler. Dennis tells Elliot that he is okay with him seeing Paige and also learns of Paige's plan for a boutique. At the Gulf Coast, Dr. Douglass tells Elena that Joe was shot in the lung but they will do all they can for him. Elena calls Rikki and asks him to come to the hospital. Ryan calls Ginny to tell her that Peter has been arrested and he is on his way to Gulf Coast to see Elena and to have Grant meet him at the Packard Hotel in one hour. Paige and Elliot look at an empty building that Paige wants to buy. Grant leaves for the Packard Hotel and then Reena tells Ginny she asked T.J. to help her destroy Justin. Elena plays the tape for Ryan and then Rikki arrives. Paige and Elliot talk about the divorce and her getting on with her life. Dennis tells Margaret that he needs some info on the DA's office. Ryan and Grant visit Jim Lawrence and Ryan tells him that he knows he is the one who called him and told him of the change in meeting places at the zoo. Then the police arrive with a search warrant to look for Johnson's work folder. Elena tries to explain to an upset Rikki about Joe. Margaret tells Dennis to talk to the janitor of the DA's building for info on how the DA's office is run. Jim tells Ryan he didn't order Pete to kill Alex and then the missing work file is found and Ryan tells the police to read Jim his rights. Dennis visits Ernie, the janitor, and offers him $5,000 if he gets the film from the DA's office. Elena tells an unconscious Joe that she loves him. Ryan and Grant tell Reena and Ginny what happened. Paige tells Elliot she is going to take the building and is also glad to hear that Dennis is finally handling things. Ernie tells Dennis he will think it over.
