Plot Overview

Reena arrives home to Vicky with T.J. hot on her heels. Ryan tells Ginny he may have found a way to clear his name. Elena and Joe arrive at the zoo unaware that Peter is watching them. Vicky tries to calm Reena and T.J. apologizes. Ryan tells Ginny that Striker has offered him a partnership but he wants to clear his name first. Joe and Elena walk through the zoo. Peter calls Jim and tells him that he has changed the location of the meeting and the trap is set. Lurlene tells Kate she didn't get the bank job and then they talk about Justin and Ryan. T.J. tells Vicky what happened at the board meeting and wonders if he is to blame for things not going right. Ginny learns from Ryan and Grant about his meeting with someone he hopes will clear his name. Grant wants to go along but Ryan says no. Joe and Elena continue walking through the zoo. Dennis talks to Iris about his party. Justin and Ashley arrive at the ranch to celebrate and tell Kate and Lurlene the news of him becoming president. Joe and Elena wait at the panther cage. T.J. and Vicky talk about Reena blaming Justin for Max's death and then Reena tells them she is going to go and talk to Iris. Iris tells Vivien that she has to throw a party for Paige as her part of the agreement with Dennis. Joe and Elena check the tape recorder and then Joe answers a pay phone that is ringing. Reena tells Iris that she is destroying Ryan's reputation. Kate tells Ashley that Justin won't change just because he is president of World Oil. Joe tells Elena that Peter has changed the meeting place to the Elephant cage. Reena tells Iris she feels sorry for her because she will have to live with herself. Kate warns Ashley that she will become just like Justin and lose her good qualities. As Joe and Elena walk down the trail Peter surprises them and pulls a gun. Peter tells them he killed Bernie and then after he gets the money he aims at Elena and Joe gets shot protecting her. Then the gun points at Elena.
