Plot Overview

Max shows Reena the finished barn for the barn dance. Ryan notices Ashley's engagement ring and asks if she knows what she is doing. Dennis tells Paige he has talked his mother into giving her old job back at the Club but Paige tells Dennis she doesn't want it. Lurlene tells Reena she wants to know the truth about the well as much as Max does and Jeb thinks Max is being to calm about everything. Ryan tells Ashley he will keep his negative comments about Justin to a minimum and Ashley tells Ryan she would like to keep working for him and then Ryan leaves and Justin arrives. Paige questions Dennis about his sudden change in attitude toward her. Jeb asks Lurlene to the barn dance tomorrow night and then finds Max taking 3 sticks of dynamite from a crate of explosives. Dennis persuades Paige to accept his offer. Ryan tells Justin no more deals with Bubba. Max tells Jeb he is not going to blow up the well just take out some tree stumps. Dennis tells Reena he may have told Iris that he would give her his proxy but he has no intention of going through with it. Jeb tells Lurlene if Bubba is bothering her he wants to know about it. Peter comes home and Paige tells him she is moving back into the suite at World Oil. Reena questions Dennis' dishonesty. Reena tells Vicky of the current problem with Iris trying to kick Ryan out for Justin. Dennis tells Elliot he has gotten Paige back to the Club and penthouse. Peter tells Paige she is making a mistake by moving back. Vicky and Reena talk about how Dennis has become bitter and Reena wonders if Justin blackmailed Paige into selling her share of the ranch. Justin tells Ashley that Bubba destroyed the proof of slant drilling that Max found. Ashley finds the papers that Bubba hid in Justin's file drawer. Reena tells Max that Dennis will vote to support Ryan and Max tells her he will take care of everything. Unbeknownst to Reena, 3 sticks of dynamite are in a bag under the bench.
