Plot Overview
Ryan arrives in helicopter to take Steve and Ginny to Virginia and Kate tells Ginny things will work out. Dennis tells Alex that he can be his son. Elena tells Joe she is hungry and then Pete calls Joe to ask if he will get rid of Alex or not. Billy Joe asks Maggie to talk to Nita. Nita tells her baby that they will be OK without his daddy. Dennis tells Alex they can go to a baseball game when he is better and then he leaves when Grant arrives and tells Alex that Judith and he are divorced. Joe tells Pete he isn't going to do it and then takes Elena out for the burger. Maggie learns that Nita hadn't named the baby yet but it will probably be Billy Joe Jr.. Ryan tells Ginny that Alex is better and that Iris blames him for working Alex too hard. Joe and Elena order burgers at a diner. Grant tells Alex he should rest. Maggie tries to get Nita to makes sure she is doing the right thing leaving Billy Joe. Ryan and Steve talk about Barrett. Dennis and Grant talk about Alex and the Chris Shaw case. While eating, Joe tells Elena about his childhood. Dr. Evan Douglass tells Dennis and Grant that Alex isn't out of the woods yet. Ryan and Ginny say good-bye. Maggie tells Billy Joe that she doesn't think Nita will ever take him back. Alex tells Ashley that Dennis is his son and that he will be Wheeler oil and Ashley records the conversation. Joe tells Elena he didn't mean to hurt Nita or kill Bernie and then Elena has "help" written on a napkin she gives the girl in the diner but it is thrown in the trash. Pete hides in hospital room as Alex remembers his talk with Pete and then asks Ashley to get Ryan right way. Pete comes out of room dressed like an orderly.
