Plot Overview
Max joins Reena in the hospital. Ryan interrupts Kate and Courtney to tell Courtney that he has to see Ginny. Billy Joe prays that Elena will be OK. As Jeb and Rikki board the freighter, Joe takes Elena back inside. Reena tells Max that Barrett is crazy and then Barrett shows up. Billy Joe notices that Bernie Baer has stopped playing. As Rikki and Jeb search the boat, Elena leaves a ring as a clue. Courtney tells Ryan it would be best if he waited to see Ginny. Barrett tells Max and Reena that he and Ginny can have another child. Ryan thinks that Barrett may have learned that the child was his. Barrett lies to Max and says that Reena was pressuring him to drill for oil in order to get Max to drill. As Jeb and Rikki search the boat, Joe takes Elena in the engine room. Courtney tells Ryan he can see Ginny tomorrow and then Courtney asks Kate if Barrett could handle learning that the baby was Ryan's. Reena tells Max that she never talked to Barrett about drilling and that he is just trying to cause problems. Nita calls Billy Joe and senses that something is wrong. Justin learns from Ashley that the baby Ginny lost was Ryan's. Max and Reena stop by Striker and Vicky's. Jeb and Rikki find Elena's ring as Joe has a gun on Elena. Max tells Striker he wants to bid on the Harper land. Billy Joe finds a key in Bernie Bear. Elena begs Joe not to kill her. Billy Joe imagines becoming rich with the contents of the locker that the key opens. Justin tells Ashley that he begins drilling for oil tomorrow. Striker tells Max the only thing he can do is wait for the Harpe well to be dry since World Oil already has a lease on the mineral rights. As Joe is about to shoot Elena he sees Jeb and fires.
