Plot Overview

Justin visits Reena. Elena wakes up and Jeb asks her about the empty pill bottle. Alex and Ryan discuss Dennis' having turned himself in and then Ashley tells Alex that Mr. Johnson hasn't come to work and isn't at home. Barrett talks to Ginny then carries Steve back up to bed. Justin asks Reena to give 1 more chance to convince Max to do a test well and then Max walks in. Elena tells Jeb that Skip set the whole thing up. Elena tells Jeb that she was drugged and Skip and another man kept asking her where it is but she doesn't know what they were talking about and Jeb tells her that he is going to New York with her. Justin tells Max that if he will agree to a test well he will let Max buy the Harper place. Otherwise Justin will put oilrigs up all over the Harper place and spoil Max's view of the land. Ryan asks Alex what is wrong and that he looks tired. Jeb tells Barrett he needs to be gone for a week. Ginny and Steve talk about the new baby and how important both children are. Alex tells Ryan that he is going to arrange to see Dennis and tell him that he is his real father. Jeb tells Ginny he is planning to go to New York to keep an eye on Elena but will stay if she needs him. Justin and Ashley celebrate his getting the Harper place and Bubba Wadsworth on the job. Max tells Reena there won't be any wells on his land or the Harper property. Ginny tells Jeb that things are better with Barrett and she will be fine. Courtney and Maggie discuss Elena and then Nita and Maggie talk about Jeb spending time with Elena. Alex tells Pete that he has reason to believe Lawrence petroleum is involved in the World Oil accounting irregularities. Max tells Reena there is no oil on the Harper place and Justin is just playing a game with them. Ashley lets Justin know that she is jealous of his feelings for Reena. Jeb asks Ryan to keep an eye on Ginny while he is gone. Pete tells Alex that they are transporting drugs and offers to cut Alex in and then Alex collapses.
