I changed the format to PNG, which seems to have fixed it for now, but the image reduced doesn't look as good. I'll revisit it later, as I'm tired of this crap right now. -- Lampbane 23:27, 18 July 2006 (EDT)

I changed it back to the jpg. I downloaded the jpg, loaded into MS paint and resaved it without touching it. for some reason it was 30kb smaller, probably either the camera you used or the program you used added additional information that the browser couldn't handle upon resize. --MateoP 23:58, 18 July 2006 (EDT)

I use Media Player Classic to take the screenshots and Photoshop to fix them (border cropping, color correction). All the same settings I always use. I'll have to look to see if anything's been messed around with, though it could just be the computer acting up because of the heat. -- Lampbane 00:11, 19 July 2006 (EDT)

Also, one file is called "escapemummies" and there's another called "escapehousemummies". Let them delete the second, it's the same image. -- Lampbane 00:16, 19 July 2006 (EDT)

Looked like a compression problem. Could it be that you accidentally saved in the default photoshop format and then resaved in jpeg after you discovered the mistake? that could throw the compression off whack. By the way, I use VLC player to take screenshots, never seen a problem that necessitates using photoshop or gimp or any program like that. --MateoP 00:56, 19 July 2006 (EDT)
