Monsters?
First, we know that "there's no such thing as monsters." It's not really a monster. It may be monstrous, but that's not the same thing. Has anyone else called it a monster since then? There should be another title for it... That's just my thoughts. I doubt anyone will agree... --Semifamous 01:29, 20 Sep 2005 (EDT)
- I think that we're using "the monster" as a generic term to refer to whatever is out there. It also seems to be the convention that the show's producers have adopted. While it may not be entirely accurate, I personally believe for the time being, the term monster fits. --Alecm 08:59, 22 Sep 2005 (EDT)
Season Two
Given the goal listed above of "adding questions through the end of Season One," what should we do about the answers (and subsequent additional questions) which might crop up in Season Two (i.e., what is written on the inside of the hatch, or what is at the bottom of the shaft)? --Ray Radlein 04:28, 22 Sep 2005 (EDT)
- Good point. Originally, this page was created during the summer months as a reference for the lost megathreads. With the show in between seasons, it served as a good guide to catch everyone up to date.
- I'm in favor of keeping it as a running tally of mysteries that stays current with where we are in the season. One could use the page to quickly catch up with the show's current status. That said, it may not funcion very well for archival purposes. Hopefully, after the show has concluded the page will be empty. The individual episode pages do include a spot for mysteries raised during the episode, and I believe that would a be a good place to keep them permanently.--Alecm 09:25, 22 Sep 2005 (EDT)
Unanswered Questions
A couple of the unanswered questions seem dated. For example, the light from the hatch was revealed to be a powerful lamp reflected up by mirrors. There is also a question regarding the scientific possibilities of a psychic pre-determining a plane crash, when that's almost a contradiction in terms: psychics are beyond science already... --offput 01:47, 24 Nov 2005 (EST)
- To combat this, there are now two pages, one for each season.--MrPhaethon 22:01, 6 Dec 2005 (EST)
Links
So much blue text. I propose we link each name once and thereafter bold them. That or only once in each category. --Ryvius 17:08, 15 Nov 2005 (EST)
