Mystery Listing

  • What was the purpose of Desmond's "experiment"?
Probable Answer: The experiment may have been to see if the prognostication of the future he had was real. Or it may simply have been to prevent the bolt of lightning from hitting Claire's shelter and killing somebody.

Call me crazy, but I never got the impression this was intended to be a mystery. It seemed pretty clear from my viewing the "experiment" was a lightning rod intended to divert the lightning from Claire's tent. I didn't get the impression the writers intended there to be questions regarding this. Was I picking up on something that was intended to be vague, or could we just be looking a little too hard for "mysteries"? -- JCaesartalk 16:16, 16 November 2006 (EST)
