Talk:Kitchen Nightmares (USA)
I live in Australia and just finished watching "Nightmares" and it was about "Campania", I am NOT a chef or cook, but have been a waitress for over 15 years, and the waitress (I think her name is Evette, Could be wrong)who won the bingo comp, in my opinion, even though she's efficient, she didn't show any customer relationship! When she first served Gorden, she didn't look like she had the time to wait.
When she took the order there was NO manners just "Yep" and "OK" and shit like that...........That is not a way to talk to customers, I have been in the hospitality industry for 20yrs and I have never talked to customers like that......even my closest friends get the right treatment. I have seen alot of the episodes, and have noticed Gordan pull up alot of the waitresses, my question is WHY NOT THAT ONE? I know people who have worked in a cafe most of their lives and can talk to customers better than what she did even to him. I really just want to say, that he is doing a fantastic job, in training people that it is teamwork between the KITCHEN to the BOSS to the WAITING STAFF to the BOSS to the KITCHEN lol, that is how it should be run.
Keep up the good work Gordan, sorry if I spealt your name wrong lol. Keep it up, but let the managers know that it is a TEAM effort and the waiting staff feel it and cop the shit from the customers.
