It was commissioned by ITV Studios for their pay tv channel ITV Encore. If it was commissioned for a ITV broadcast channel it would stand chance of having additional series runs commissioned. Also FOX is only a buyer for the US rights, not a co-production partner. Whereas Shaw Media in Canada is a co-production partner due to post production work being off-shored to Canada to reduce costs and get Canadian tax credits. Helmboy (talk) 19:20, 25 March 2016 (CDT)

FOX is not a production partner, but Sony Pictures Television is, making it an American co-production.

Sony secured the international distribution deal, just as NBC Universal got the deal to internationally distribute the ITV Studio production Downton Abbey. Helmboy (talk) 18:13, 26 March 2016 (CDT)
