Talk:Film noir

Wow. Every single sentence in this definition contains at least one factual inaccuracy. Film noir is a very specific, very narrow type of films (films, not TV shows, films) which existed for a very short length of time. Due to its specificity and place in cultural history, a well-written, thoroughly-researched article could be written about it. However...

It's not a TV genre. No article links here. The page has been accessed 37 times. Writing a thorough definition could take several hours, which seems silly for an unpopular article that really doesn't belong in a TV Wiki (although such an article would definitely have a place in a Cinema Wiki).

In the past, that time and energy would've had to have been expended in order to appease a user who won't be around any more. But he's gone. Can I just delete this page and be done with it? -- JCaesar^talk 19:37, 4 October 2006 (EDT)
