Plot Overview
Jo visits the Prescott family in Hesperia, California where Kadi and Daniel have seven kids: 8-year-old daughter Marli, 7-year-old son Daniel, 6-year-old son Trenton, 5-year-old son Phillip, 3-year-old son Aiden, 2-year-old daughter Ella and 1-year-old son Reed.
With Daniel working all day, Kadi is at home with the kids. When the kids act up, Kadi tends to lose her temper and yell at them; she especially struggles with how to handle Daniel, who has ADHD and relies on Marli to be the "mini-mom."
Jo discovers that Kadi has a strained relationship with her father, who came out as a homosexual when she was a young girl and Daniel is reluctant for his family to have a relationship with him because he doesn't approve of his father-in-law's lifestyle.
Can Jo help the Prescotts out?
