Supermarket Sweep (1990)
From The TV IV
Supermarket Sweep (1990) was a game show airing on Lifetime (cable) and then on PAX. It was a revival of the Supermarket Sweep that aired in the 60s.
This version took place in a sound studio resembling a supermarket. The first round was a question-and-answer round, based on a number of subjects. The second round was the pricing round, similar to the ABC show. The fourth, a round-robin game, had the husbands identifying items. In season three, the "Mini-Sweep" was introduced, worth cash prizes as well as time added to their sweep score. The Sweep, the show's final contest, was also modified. The accumulated total of the groceries determined the winner who won cash prizes.
