Plot Overview
A young scientist trying to help Superboy's weakness to Kryptonite winds up infecting himself with the radiation. Dying, he escapes and begins raining destruction to lure and destroy Superboy whom he blames for his condition.

- Kryptonite Kid is based on a villain of Superman's. Although, he would be called Kryptonite Man as an adult, with the Kryptonite Kid being the version of the character who fought Superboy.
