Super 6 was an animated comedy airing Saturday mornings on NBC. It was the first TV production of the DePatie-Freleng studio, which animated the opening titles of the 1964 film The Pink Panther and the subsequent Pink Panther theatrical short subjects.

The Super 6 were superheroes that were parceled out to assignments from the Super Service Agency. The show's recurring weekly hero was Super Bwoing, a guitar player whose facilities usually let him down in battling a crime. His catch phrase when taking off is "Zip, Zam, Zowie and Swoosh!" The revolving heroes in the series are Elevator Man (who can grow by pressing a button on his belt), Super Scuba (an underwater hero), Granite Man (a statue), Magneto Man (magnet hands), and Captain Zammo (a kind of a sissy at first glance).

The show's middle feature is The Brothers Matzoriley, a three-headed brother act--Weft, Wong and Wight--encasing the same body. They first appeared in the debut Inspector cartoon The Great DeGaulle Stone Operation.

The show's theme song was written and performed by Gary Lewis, son of comedian Jerry Lewis and front man for Gary Lewis and the Playboys.
