Stroker and Hoop is an animated buddy cop parody about two private detectives and their talking car. The series first aired on August 1, 2004, in a sneak preview of the pilot episode. The series actually began a year later with regular episodes on August 28, 2005.
The show's finale aired on December 25, 2005 with a cliffhanger ending. On February 9, 2006, lead animator Les Harper announced that the show would not return for a second season.
