Strange Frequency is a horror/drama anthology that aired on VH1. It was similar to previous anthologies such as The Twilight Zone, with the main difference being that all of the stories were in some way related to music. Additionally, each episode was named after a famous song. The host for the show was Roger Daltry from the band The Who, who also stars in one episode.

The show started off with a pilot film featuring four segments. Later that year, it debuted as a series, with the segments from the film being split off on their own to form 4 of the show's 12 episodes. The pilot film has been released on DVD, and four other episodes of the series have been edited together to appear as a sequel titled Strange Frequency 2 on DVD.
