Ever wondered what it would be like to be a spy? Images of a suave James Bond in exotic locations, beautiful women, dangerous situations and high-tech gadgetry spring to mind? But it can't really be like that, can it? Surely Bond's colleagues don't get a leg over nearly so often and they can't all get the glamour assignments. Spy is a new 10-part series that will blow the lid on the secret world of intelligence and espionage. The programme gives ordinary people the chance to inhabit a world they have only ever read about or seen on screen. Undergoing rigorous training parallel to that of intelligence operatives all over the world, eight candidates have the chance to leave their old lives behind, relocate to a new city and assume a whole new identity...
