Another major change for Soul Train occurred this season: Starting with Episode 938, Shemar Moore takes over as host, replacing Mystro Clark. Along with Moore's debut, the program gets a new theme: "TSOP 2000" by Dr. Freeze, Samson, and Everette Harp.
